Leesburg Wants You To Participate in Independence Day Parade

Join the fun and participate in Leesburg’s 24th annual Independence Day parade.

The event kicks off at at 10:00 a.m at the front field of Ida Lee Park through historic Downtown Fairfax Street. Downtown streets will close at 9:30 a.m., at which time all parade participants must be at Ida Lee Park.

Civic groups, youth organizations, community groups, families and others are encouraged to participate in the parade. Entries may include floats, motorized or nonmotorized vehicles, and walking groups. Creativity is encouraged!

Parade applications are available at www.idalee.org or at the front desk of the Ida Lee Park Recreation Center, located at 60 Ida Lee Dr. NW, Leesburg. For information, call 703-777-1368. Pre-registration is encouraged but not mandatory.
