Libertarian Sarvis to Air TV Spot During Gubernatorial Debate
Excluded from the debate, the Libertarian candidate makes his case as major party candidates attend with Chuck Todd-moderated debate.

Robert Sarvis, the Libertarian candidate for Virginia governor, has planned a television campaign spot to air tonight during the gubernatorial debate between Democrat Terry McAuliffe and Republican Ken Cuccinelli.
Sarvis was not included in the event, which MSNBC commentator Chuck Todd will moderate. His campaign ad will air during the debate on NBC’s Northern Virginia affiliates.
Sarvis makes the case that he’s the candidate to pick this year, since the two major party candidates appear to have the choice have left voters feeling a lack of enthusiasm.

“Like you, I can’t vote for Ken Cuccinelli’s narrow-minded social agenda,” Sarvis says in the spot. “And like you, I don’t want Terry McAuliffe’s ‘cronyism,’ either, where government picks winners and losers.”
