Locally Leesburg Program To Highlight Local Businesses, Shops
The Leesburg Department of Economic Development is launching a new program, Locally Leesburg, to spotlight local businesses.
LEESBURG, VA — Locally Leesburg is a new program that will spotlight local businesses, starting on Feb. 4. The new program, established by the Leesburg Department of Economic Development, will exist in multiple phases.
As a whole, the Locally Leesburg program is intended to promote the Town of Leesburg as a premier shopping and business hub, according to a press release. The town hopes that the promotion will establish Leesburg as a desirable destination for visitors, as well.
The first phase of the new program, the Locally Leesburg Business Spotlight, will feature a different business each week. The spotlight will discuss the different services offered by the establishment, and why the business owner decided to set up shop in Leesburg.

The Locally Leesburg Business Spotlight will premiere as a video series, with new episodes posted every Thursday at 11 a.m. The videos will air on the town's Facebook page. Episodes will also be available on the Town of Leesburg's Youtube page, and the Economic Development Department's website.
Russell Seymour is Leesburg's Director of Economic Development. "We are going to highlight the many factors that make Leesburg a true destination of choice," Seymour said in a press release.

The first episode of the Locally Leesburg Business Spotlight will premiere this Thursday, Feb. 4 at 11 a.m. Business owners looking to be featured in future iterations of Locally Leesburg can contact Business Development and Retention Manager Melanie Scoggins.
