Police Seek ID of Man Caught on Video Breaking Into Cars

The Leesburg Police Department are seeking the identity of a man caught on a security camera entering cars along the 200 block of Cornwall Street NW in the wee hours of Aug. 14.

Investigators are asking anyone with information about the man’s identity to call Detective Vogel at 703-771-4524. In addition, the Leesburg Police Department reminded residents to lock their vehicles when unattended, and to either hide valuables – including loose change, laptop computers, GPS devices and other electronic equipment – or take them out of the vehicle.
