Priest Investigated For Improper Behavior In Loudoun: Diocese
A long-time priest in Northern Virginia is being investigated by the LCSO for inappropriate conduct with a minor and adults: Diocese

PURCELLVILLE, VA—A long-time priest in the Northern Virginia area is being investigated by the Loudoun County Sheriff's Office for an inappropriate relationship with a minor and adults, according to the Diocese of Arlington.
Ronald S. Escalante, pastor of Saint Francis de Sales Church, has been placed on administrative leave. The Diocese of Arlington said in a press release Friday that Escalante denies the accusations and is fully cooperating with the investigation.
A spokesman for the Diocese told the Washington Post the investigation centers on boundary violations and not "abuse." The alleged behavior was reported to the church on Nov. 21, after which the LCSO was notified.
