Road Work to Close One Lane of Sycolin Wednesday, Thursday Nights

The work will resurface the road from Miller Drive to the Town of Leesburg border.

Milling and paving work along Sycolin Road Oct. 2-4 will reduce the road to one lane from Miller Drive to the Town of Leesburg’s corporate limits Wednesday and Thursday nights.

The work is part of the town’s street resurfacing program. Weather could impact the schedule; check for updates on the town website, www.leesburgva.gov, and via fliers and message boards.

  • Milling: Wednesday, Oct. 2, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 3
  • Paving: Thursday, Oct. 3, 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., Friday, Oct. 4

During milling and paving operations, crews will close one lane of the street at a time, so motorists should expect delays. On-street parking will NOT be permitted while work is underway.
