West Belmont Place at the National Supports Loudoun County Arts
West Belmont Place is working with The Senior Center and Pinot's Palette to present a second Art in the Park this summer.

From West Belmont Place:
LEESBURG, VA— West Belmont Place, the Special Event Center at The National Conference Center, continues to support the local community through its second music and food event this summer, Paint it Picture Perfect…Art in the Park, Saturday, September 24 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
As part of Art in the Park, which includes food, wine and beer tastings, West Belmont Place is announcing its Mural Paining Project created by Rita Sartori, Leesburg Vintage Potters, who works with the members of The Senior Center. This large canvas, 160’ x 64’, will be made up of several 16 x 20’ squares that participants will paint a message or picture. In the center will be an original painting of the courtyard at The National painted by Sartori. The Senior Center will have painters available to assist participants with ideas and techniques. The mural will eventually hang in the lobby at the National. In addition, the Senior Center will exhibit their hand-created ceramics.

To keep the theme of being creative, another activity during the day will feature Pinot’s Palaette, a local painting studio and business that will offer step-by-step painting instruction with experienced and enthusiastic local artists. Participants will leave with a one-of-a-kind creation and a new found talent they’ll want to explore. We will provide art supplies during the event.
The Jr. Chef Competition was so successful in June that West Belmont Place has brought it back for a repeat event. Executive Chef Chris Ferrier invites all junior chefs to put their creative cooking and decorating skills to work at the Jr. Chef Competition.
