Frederick's Late Rally Stuns Potomac Nats

Three runs in the eighth prove decisive

right-hander Trevor Holder pitched great for seven innings, but it was the eighth that was his undoing. Holder held Frederick scoreless for the first seven frames until the Keys pushed across three runs in their next-to-last at-bat for a 3-2 win.

Sandy Leon drove home Potomac’s first run with a single in the second that scored Steven Souza. It was a lead they held until the bottom of the eighth.

After falling behind 3-1, the Nats staged a really of their own, scoring one in the top half of the ninth, but eventually left the tying run at third.
