Glory Days Grill Celebrates 17th Birthday With Gift to Leukemia & Lymphoma Society

The restaurant chain, which has a Lorton location, is trying to raise $10,000

Glory Days Grill turns 17 on April 16, and all 18 locations (including the one in Lorton) are celebrating by donating 10 percent of their sales to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The restaurant chain hopes to raise $10,000 in the effort. 

“We are pleased to partner with The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society on the occasion of our 17 year anniversary,” stated Jeff Newman, President at Glory Days Grill. “LLS is a strong local organization that provides much needed services, programs and support to so many people. One of our company’s core objectives is to provide community outreach in numerous ways and working in concert with LLS fits hand-in-glove with our mission.”

The LLS's mission is to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s disease and myeloma.

“The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is thankful to all of the Glory Days Grill staff, general managers and owners for choosing to work with LLS on their anniversary celebration,” said Gabrielle Urquhart, LLS National Capital Area Chapter Executive Director. “The dollars raised through this partnership will help to fund life-saving research and important patient programs and services.”
