The Lorton Arts Foundation has worked for more than a year to make its Youth Arts Center a reality. On Thursday, Dec. 1, the ribbon was cut and the performers of "Schoolhouse Rock" sang, danced and acted silly with childlike behavior. It was tolerated, even welcomed, as the newly finished building will be a second home to budding artists, who will be encouraged to stretch their creative abilities. The Youth Arts Center has a music room, two classrooms and a theater. Enjoy the pictures!
