FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Interstate-95 South has reopened as of 4:33 p.m. Monday, after it closed down earlier near Lorton. Now just a left shoulder is closed, police say.A helicopter was landing Monday afternoon to take someone to the hospital after a crash on Interstate 95 South near Lorton, according to Virginia State Police. Virginia State Police responded to a two-vehicle crash in the southbound lanes of I-95 at the 164 mile marker. One person was seriously injured and a medical evac helicopter has landed at the scene to transport that individual to a nearby hospital.Patch will update with new information as soon as it becomes available.
