Lorton Beauty Store Robbery: Do You Recognize Suspect in Surveillance Video?

Fairfax County Police have released surveillance videos of a suspect they say robbed a Lorton store.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Police released several videos Monday hoping someone recognizes a suspect in a robbery that took place in April at a Lorton store.

Detectives from the Fairfax County Police Major Crimes Division are investigating the commercial robbery that occurred April 17 at the KC Beauty Mart located at 7702 Gunston Plaza.

At around 12:40 p.m., a man entered the store and demanded money. The clerk apparently believed the suspect had a weapon but none was seen, police said.

The suspect left on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash; there were no injuries.

The suspect was described as black, approximately 20 to 30 years old, 5 feet 8 inches to 5 feet 11 inches tall, and of slender build, according to police. The suspect had scars on both sides of his face. He was wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt with an eagle on the back, blue jeans, and white/black sneakers.
