Lorton Man Fatally Shot In Northeast DC: Police
A Lorton man was fatally shot Sunday night in an incident in Northeast D.C., according to D.C.'s Metropolitan Police Department.
LORTON, VA — A Lorton man was fatally shot Sunday night in an incident in Northeast D.C., according to D.C.’s Metropolitan Police Department.
Kenithy Manns, 32, was pronounced dead at the scene in the 1200 block of H Street NE, police said.
On Sunday, shortly after 11 p.m., police officers received a report of an incident on H Street NE. When they arrived at the location, officers found a man suffering from a gunshot wound, the MPD said.

DC Fire and Emergency Medical Services responded to the scene and “after finding no signs consistent with life, the victim remained on the scene until transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner,” police said.
Police said detectives are investigating the shooting. The MPD offers a reward of up to $25,000 to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible for a homicide committed in the District of Columbia.
