Lorton Man Killed in Car Crash in Spotsylvania
Driver charged with driving under the influence

The Freelance-Star in Fredericksburg has reported that a Lorton man was killed in an auto accident early Friday morning.
Marshall Mitchell, 34, was a passenger in a 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe that crashed on Benchmark Road, which is east of I-95.
According to state police, the vehicle, driven by 32 year-old Jui Shelton of Spotsylvania, was traveling southbound when it swerved off the road and then crossed into the left lane before overturning. Mitchell was ejected from the vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene.

Shelton is being charged with driving under the influence, but the investigation is ongoing.
