The most recent crimes as reported by Franconia and West Springfield District stations:

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY/ASSAULT: A 19-year-old man was assaulted by three other men in the 8700 block of Selger Drive around 7:40 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25. The victim was sitting on a log resting when a two-door, black Honda Civic pulled up near him and three men exited. They approached the victim and forced him to walk toward the tree line. The suspects assaulted the victim, destroyed his cell phone and fled. They did not take any property. The suspects were described as Asian, in their early 20s. They were about 5 feet 9 inches tall and 175 pounds. Suspect one was wearing a white T-shirt and a gold Rolex watch. Suspect two was wearing a red Adidas T-shirt. Suspect three was wearing a black tank top and a gold necklace. He also had a tattoo of a cross on his left arm. His hair was black with blonde tips and he wore it in a Mohawk that was four to five inches tall. The victim did not require medical treatment.

ROBBERY: A man robbed the employees of the Robeks store, located at 5824 Kingstowne Center around 8:48 p.m. on Tuesday, May 24. The man entered the store, brandished a gun and demanded money. He assaulted one employee, a 26-year-old woman, and fled from the store with an undisclosed amount of cash. The employee did not require medical treatment. The suspect was described as Asian, about 5 feet 6 inches tall and 160 pounds. He was wearing black sweatpants with a stripe down the side, a tight, long-sleeved, black shirt, black gloves and a ski mask.
