Machete Robbery: 2 Suspects from Lorton Face Charges, Police Say
Police say two Lorton residents participated in a robbery Tuesday that included a suspect allegedly pointing a machete at the victim.

FAIRFAX COUNTY, VA -- Two Lorton residents are accused of participating in a robbery Tuesday morning that included possibly threatening the victim with a machete, Fairfax County Police said.
The victim was robbed, allegedly at the point of a machete, after he got into a car with three other people he knew police said. Once in the car, he says he was robbed while one of the suspects pointed the machete at him, police said.
After robbing him and threatening him with the machete, they forced him out of the car, police said.

While responding to investigate the robbery, police located a suspect on foot nearby and took him into custody. An officer checking the area observed another suspect driving near the 9500 block of Richmond Highway.
The officer initiated a traffic stop, but the driver allegedly failed to pull over and a brief pursuit took place, police said. The vehicle stopped on Hagel Circle (see map below) and the occupants fled on foot.

One suspect was apprehended and determined to be involved in the robbery. Lance Jackson, 23, of Lorton, and Brandon M. Henry, 19, of Lorton, were transported to jail and both charged with robbery. The victim was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
Police are continuing to investigate the case.
