The Potomac Nationals have their first three-game winning streak of the year. Thanks to seven strong innings from Mitchell Clegg, where he allowed two runs on four hits, the P-Nats beat host Lynchburg 6-2, last night.
Clegg had plenty of support. On the mound, Hector Nelo pitched a scoreless eighth and ninth inning. Offensively, Destin Hood had a double and a triple; Steven Souza drove in three with a single and a homer; and Eury Perez went 3-5.
The P-Nats (17-23) look to make it four straight when they play Lynchburg again today at 6:05.
