P-Nats Swept By Kinston

Day off today before hosting Lynchburg over the holiday weekend

Kinston jumped out to an 8-0 last night over the Potomac Nationals and were never headed en route to a 13-7 win and a three-game sweep. The P-Nats (18-27) have now lost four straight after winning four straight.

Potomac starter Mitchell Clegg had his worst outing of the year, unable to make it out of the second inning. The P-Nats were able to rally and cut Kinston's lead to 8-5. Jose Lazada paced the offense with three hits that drove in two. Eury Perez also drove in two on two hits.

Potomac will try to regroup with a day off today before hosting a four-game weekend series versus Lynchburg that features a doubleheader on Saturday.
