Photos: The Little Shop of Horrors Comes to Lorton

"FEED ME!"

The Little Shop of Horrors, one of the longest running Off-Broadway shows of all time is here.

Presented by the South County Middle School Theatre Department, this affectionate spoof of 1950s sci-fi movies has become a household name. Mushnik is about to close his downtown Skid Row floral shop and that would put Audrey and Seymour out of a job. Audrey suggests putting one of Seymour’s strange and unusual plants in the window and the florist suddenly becomes a huge success. Everything is going great until a hungry plant requests a “special plant food that isn’t hard to come by” and Audrey’s sleazy boyfriend disappears.

Lead roles include Ethan Schulze as Seymour, Monica Altman as Audrey, Kyle McKnight as Dentist, and Franco Diaz as Mushnik.
