Police Blotter: March 24 - March 30

In the early morning hours of Friday, March 25 a police officer observed a man is a vehicle near Pohick Regional Park at 10234 Gunston Road. While the officer was investigating, the man, Raymond J Andrews, 47, with no fixed address, attempted to escape in the vehicle. He was apprehended a short distance away. Andrews was charged with possession of cocaine, felony speed to elude, resisting arrest, driving on a suspended license, driving while intoxicated, refusing to take a blood-alcohol test, reckless driving and trespassing in a park after dark.
