The Potomac Nationals smashed six homeruns yesterday afternoon en route to a 14-6 win over the Frederick Keys in a Carolina League game. The offensive production was a contrast to the day before, when the Nats had only a pair of doubles in generating six runs against the Keys.
J.P Ramirez, Destin Hood, Brian Peacock, Justin Bloxom, Jose Lozada, and Eury Perez went yard, and their homers drove home 11 of the 14 runs.
Starting pitcher Danny Rosenbaum was solid if unspectacular going five and two-thirds while allowing six runs and fanning four. He got the win.
