The National Weather Service has issued a hazardous weather advisory effective today and tonight for Northern Virginia and the Maryland portion of the Chesapeake Bay. A small craft advisory is also in effect until 11 p.m. for the lower tidal Potomac.
The high temperature will be 64 degrees today and the low will be 46, with showers to continue to Thursday morning. The high temperature Thursday will be about 46 degrees, with a low of 27 in the evening.
