ATM User Threatened With Gun In Manassas: Police
Authorities are looking for a male who flashed a gun and tried to rob someone using a drive-up ATM in Manassas, say Manassas City Police.
MANASSAS, VA—Authorities are looking for a male who flashed a gun and tried to rob someone using a drive-up ATM outside BB&T Bank March 24 at 8650 Centreville Road, according to Manassas City Police. He's described as white or Hispanic in his late teens or early 20s.
Around 8:30 p.m., the man approached a person attempting to withdraw money from the ATM at the aforementioned location. He whipped out a silver handgun and demanded money, but the person immediately drove away without incident. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-257-8043.
