Burglary Interrupted By Homeowner In Manassas: Police

MANASSAS, VA—A homeowner walked in on a burglary Monday night in the 7000 block of Barbados Lane, according to Prince William County Police. No descriptions of the suspect or suspects were immediately available.

Shortly before 8:30 p.m., police were summoned to the home for a burglary in progress. The homeowner said that upon returning home, a rear window was found open and noises were heard on the upper level. Officers and a K-9 unit searched the area to no avail.

Entry into the home appear to have been made through an unsecured rear window. Personal property, identification documents and a tablet were reported missing. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-792-6500.
