Gunfire Erupts Outside Walmart In Manassas: Police

Gunfire erupted between two vehicles Wednesday night at a Walmart parking lot in Manassas, according to Prince William County Police.

MANASSAS, VA—Gunfire erupted Wednesday night in a Walmart parking lot at 8386 Sudley Road, according to Prince William County Police. No injuries or property damage were reported, and two vehicles involved in the incident fled before police arrived.

Shortly after 9 p.m., police responded to the store for a reported shooting. Witnesses said two vehicles were in the parking lot when the occupants of one of them got out and approached the other, a Chevrolet SUV, amid some sort of disagreement. One of the people then ran back to the other vehicle, grabbed a gun and fired several shots toward the SUV.

Witnesses also said shots were fired from the SUV as it drove out of the parking lot toward Rixlew Drive. Upon arrival, police found several shell casings in the parking lot. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-792-6500.
