Macy's Armed Robbers Arrested In Manassas: Police
Three boys have been arrested after robbing a Macy's at knife-point March 23 in Manassas Mall, according to Prince William County Police.

MANASSAS, VA—Three boys have been arrested after robbing a Macy's at knife-point March 23 in Manassas Mall at 8270 Sudley Road, according to Prince William County Police. Charged with robbery and conspiracy to commit a felony were a 14-year-old of Fairfax, a 15-year-old of Manassas and a 16-year-old of Manassas.
Surveillance footage provided photos of the suspects, and they later were identified by Manassas City Schools resource officers. The 14-year-old was arrested Tuesday; the others, Wednesday.
Shortly after 5:30 p.m. on March 23, police were summoned to the mall for a reported armed robbery. They found that three boys entered the store and selected merchandise from the racks. Two of them took the merchandise into the dressing room area, and when they came out, the merchandise had been concealed.

They then tried to leave the store but were confronted by an employee. One of them made verbal threats while waving a knife toward the worker, after which they all fled on foot. An officer canvassing the area found the merchandise in a surrounding neighborhood. No injuries were reported.
