Manassas Teen Killed Fleeing Police In Motorcycle Crash: Authorities
The 19-year-old collided with a car while he was fleeing police with his motorcycle's lights turned off, authorities said.
BRISTOW, VA — A teenage motorcyclist from Manassas died after colliding with a car while he was fleeing police with his motorcycle’s lights turned off, authorities said.
The incident occurred around 8 p.m. Saturday at Linton Hall and Nokesville roads in Bristow, according to police.
A Prince William County officer conducting speed enforcement at Nokesville Road and Stadler Place saw a 2004 Kawasaki ZX-6R speeding south on Nokesville Road, police said. As the officer turned on their emergency equipment, the motorcyclist turned off his lights and accelerated rapidly approaching Linton Hall Road, according to police. A 2024 Nissan Sentra traveling east on Linton Hall Road turned right on a red light at Nokesville Road, and the car and motorcycle collided, police said.

The motorcyclist, a 19-year-old from Manassas, was taken to a hospital, where he later died, according to police, who said the driver of the Sentra, a 50-year-old woman from Bealeton, was treated for minor injuries.
Anyone who may have witnessed the crash is asked to contact police, authorities said.
