Mob Attack In Haymarket Nets Two More Arrests: Police
Two more people, both of Woodbridge, have been arrested for their roles in a mob assault on two people Feb. 17 in Haymarket: PWC Police.
HAYMARKET, VA—Two more people have been arrested for their roles in a mob assault on two people Feb. 17 in the 1800 block of Ridge Road, according to Prince William County Police. Amaiya Machelle Grant, 18, of the 3300 block of Ladino Court in Woodbridge, was charged Saturday with robbery, abduction, conspiracy to commit a felony and assault by mob. Xavier Quortez Grant, 19, of the same address, was charged with abduction, conspiracy to commit a felony and assault by mob.
Already arrested: Jeremy Allue, 26, of the 1500 block of Summit Drive in Haymarket, who was charged with abduction, conspiracy to commit abduction, assault by mob and assault and battery; and Justin Corum, 21, of the 2100 block of Mountain Road, who was charged with two counts of abduction and one count of assault by mob.
Shortly before 7:45 p.m. on Feb.17, police went to the scene to investigate a fight earlier that night in the parking lot. A 17-year-old girl and a 20-year-old man said they were sitting in a vehicle when they were confronted by Allue and Corum, as well as an unknown man and three unknown women. When they got out of the vehicle, they were assaulted.

During the assault, one of the people took "property" from the girl, after which they all fled the area in two separated vehicles. Minor injuries were reported. An investigation found the incident stemmed from an ongoing dispute, and warrants were obtained for Allue and Corum, who were arrested the next day without incident.
