Monastery Burglarized, Vandalized In Bristow: Police

Authorities are looking for whoever burglarized and vandalized buildings within the St. Benedict Monastery in Bristow, say PWC Police.

BRISTOW, VA—Authorities are looking for whoever burglarized and vandalized buildings within the St. Benedict Monastery at 9535 Linton Hall Road during the overnight hours of March 28, according to Prince William County Police. No property was reported missing.

Shortly before 9:30 a.m. on March 29, police were dispatched to the monastery for a reported burglary. They found that a rear sliding glass door on one of the barns was shattered, and that fire extinguishers had been used inside. Another barn also was entered, and more damage was reported. Anyone with information is urged to call police at 703-792-6500.
