ARTfactory to celebrate young talent at Off the Wall High School Awards on Jan. 10 (potomaclocal.com) — Manassas’ ARTfactory is inviting the community to its free Off the Wall High School Art Exhibit & Competition awards ceremony on Saturday, Jan. 10, from 2–4 p.m. Local families can cheer on students from nine Prince William County high schools, explore artwork in multiple categories, and watch live judging of creative Wearable Art designs in a professional gallery setting. 
2. Groups Urge Court To Block Digital Data Center From Locating Next To Manassas Battlefield (nationalparkstraveler.org) — A massive data center complex proposed beside Manassas National Battlefield Park is facing new legal pressure, as six preservation and environmental groups file a brief urging Virginia’s Court of Appeals to keep the project blocked. They argue Prince William County’s rezoning for the Prince William Digital Gateway would irreparably damage historic Manassas battlefields and nearby conserved lands, with dozens of large data centers and substations transforming the area.
3. Forest Park boys beat Colgan in overtime for seventh straight win (insidenova.com) — Local hoops fans have plenty to track as Forest Park’s boys edged Colgan in overtime for their seventh straight win and several other Prince William County teams, including Osbourn Park and Patriot, posted big results. Manassas Park’s boys fell to Meridian despite 10 points from Zachary Hubbard, while area girls squads like Osbourn Park and Battlefield also turned in dominant performances.
4. SoberRide Surpasses 100,000 Free Rides During New Year's Holiday (mocoshow.com) — Manassas residents were among more than 1,400 people who used the regional SoberRide program for free Lyft trips over New Year’s, helping keep impaired drivers off local roads. The nonprofit Washington Regional Alcohol Program says its service, which covers Manassas and Manassas Park, has now provided over 100,000 free rides since 1991 across Greater Washington.
