
Two people were arrested Sunday following a domestic dispute in the Manassas area of Prince William County.
It happened when police responded to a home on the 8800 block of Cherry Oak Court in the Manassas-area of the county at 3:52 a.m. to investigate a domestic dispute.
While officers were speaking to one of the suspects that person became upset and pushed one of the officers multiple times. A struggle ensued and while officers were trying to arrest the suspect, a woman got involved in the altercation, Prince William County Police reports show.
The woman was placed in the back of a police cruiser where she kicked a window, the partition and later the leg of an officer who tried to stop her.
No injuries were reported but Jaimer Colon Rodriguez ,34, and Jessica Marie Alicea, 29, both of Cherry Oak Court are both charged with assault and battery on a law enforcement officer. Rodriguez is also charged with resisting arrest. A $1,500 bond was set for both suspects.
