Prince William-Area Schools: Weather Call For March 1: UPDATE
Public schools in the Prince William County area have made a weather-related decision about classes Friday, March 1.
PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, VA—With an expected wintry mix on the way, here's schedule news for public schools in the Prince William County area:
PRINCE WILLIAM: All PWCS will be closed on Friday, March 1, due to expected inclement weather conditions in certain areas. The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for snow and sleet impacting the morning commute. SACC will not open. Code red for employees. Telework subject to policy. All school division activities including Professional Development sessions are cancelled. Students competing in state championships, including robotics, should check with their teams for travel details.
MANASSAS PARK: MPCS will open two hours late on Friday, March 1st. Central office will open at 10 AM. We will monitor the forecast during the morning commute.

MANASSAS CITY: All Manassas City Public Schools will open on a 2 hour delay, Friday, March 1, 2019 due to the Winter Weather Advisory. We will continue to monitor weather conditions throughout the early morning hours and will make an announcement if there is a change to the status.
