Three Juveniles Arrested after Mob Assault at Wichita Ct.

A 17-year-old Manassas boy was reportedly assaulted and robbed by three known acquaintances Tuesday, Sept. 30 at Wichita Ct. in Manassas.

Prince William County Police responded to a report of an assault at the 7300 block of Wichita Court in Manassas Sept. 30 just before 4 p.m.

The victim, a 17 year old male juvenile of Manassas, reported that he was assaulted and robbed by three known male acquaintances.

An investigation revealed that the victim arranged to meet with one of the acquaintances to sell a pair of shoes. After the purchase, the suspects assaulted the victim and took his cell phone, a pair of headphones and money before dispersing. During the encounter, a knife was implied by one of the males. Minor injuries were reported.

Following the investigation, detectives were able to identify and locate the three suspects.

Two 16-year-old male juveniles and one 16-year-old female juvenile, all of Manassas, were charged with assault by mob and robbery. A court date is pending while all three are being held at a juvenile detention facility.
