Woodbridge Driver Dies After Single-Vehicle Crash In Manassas

A crash believed to be caused by a medical emergency in the Manassas area led to a driver's death at the hospital.

MANASSAS, VA — A Woodbridge driver died after a single-vehicle crash earlier in October in the Manassas area, according to Prince William County Police. Police believe the driver had a medical emergency.

The crash happened around 7:58 a.m. on Oct. 8 at Prince William Parkway and Clover Hill Road in Manassas. Police believe a 1999 Ford Mustang was heading west on the Prince William Parkway when the vehicle left the road and went up an embankment. The vehicle stopped at a guardrail.

The driver was taken to the hospital and died on Wednesday, Oct. 16. There were no other people in the vehicle.

The driver was identified as Christopher Cary Soto, 72, of Woodbridge.
