8 Manassas, Manassas Park Residents Announce Graduation from College

The Manassas and Manassas Park residents earned degrees from various colleges and universities in the U.S.

Here's a list of some of the Manassas Park and Manassas-area residents who earned degrees this academic year. Unless otherwise noted, all graduates hail from Manassas.

Lori Ellen Race graduated cum laude (with praise) from Clemson University in Clemson, SC on May 10. Lori earned a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture, and is one of more than 3,000 graduates who earned degrees from Clemson this spring, according to ReadMedia. 

Peter Mullinax graduated from Millersville University in Millersville, Pa. on May 18. Peter earned a Bachelor of Science in meteorology and was one of 1,110 graduates who earned bachelor degrees from the university this spring.

Andrew Plotner graduated from Creighton University in Omaha, Neb. on May 18 with a Bachelor of Science degree. He is among 1,600 graduates who received degrees this spring from Creighton.

Colleen James graduated Cum Laude from Bob Jones University in Greenville, SC this month. She earned a Bachelor of Music Degree in church music.

Colleen is among the more than 800 students who graduated from Bob Jones University this spring.

Kamala Priyanka Vuba, graduated on May 17 with from the State University of New York at New Paltz in New Palta, Ny. Kamala earned a Master of Science in computer science, according to ReadMedia.  Kamala is among the 280 people who earned degrees from the university.

Sarmin Suma graduated from Walsh College in Troy, MI. on Dec. 15 with a Bachelor of Business Administration in general business. 

Benjamin Price, a Manassas Park resident, graduated from Eastern Kentucky University in Richmond, Ky. on Dec. 15 with a Master of Science degree in safety/security/emergency management He was among 1,068 graduates recognized by the university during fall commencement.
