Manassas Park to Participate in World's Largest Swim Lesson Thursday
The Manassas Park Community Center is hoping to help set a Guinesses World Record by conducting the same swim lesson at the same time as other facilities around the country.

The City of Manassas Park Department of Parks and Recreation invites you to join us at The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson taking place at the pool on Thursday, June 14 from 11-11:30 a.m.
This event is for children and adults of all ages and will feature a FREE 30-minute swimming lesson to promote awareness of the importance of teaching children how to swim.
At 11 a.m. aquatic facilities around the world will simultaneously conduct the same swimming lesson in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record.

Upon arriving at the lesson, participants will be assigned to groups around the pool.
Participants are urged to arrive no later than 10:45 a.m. Promptly at 11 a.m., the lesson will begin and last about 30 minutes.

All participants who remain in the pool for the entire lesson will be included on our roster and receive a certificate.
