Drum Roll: Five Guys Named Best Burger Joint in Manassas Area

After 130 votes, nine contestants and four days, five guys took the top spot.

Five Guys Burgers and Fries, that is. With 34 percent of the 130 votes, it is the winner of our, contest.

Nancy Vehrs wrote on Patch that Five Guys is her favorite because, “ … it's my guy's favorite.”

The readers also had some glowing things to say about the other joints featured in our poll:

“I know that City Tavern has fabulous Burgers and Fries! Please add them to your list!”

“Foster's Grille...no doubt”

Though Clarkes Grill & Sports Emporium only garnered 4 percent of the vote, it was the joint most mentioned by our commenters.  We’re thinking that means Clarke’s great food is Manassas Park’s little secret. 

“Clarke's not only has great burgers and other food, it has the best ambiance and that makes it the full package!”

“Clarke's Bar is by far the best burger, churger, hot dog, and Mac and Cheese around Manassas.”
