Manassas Park College Student Returns from Studying in Rome

Manassas Park son Juan Ferrel has returned to the U.S. after spending an entire college semester studying in Rome, Italy, according to a ReadMedia release.
Ferrel, a junior business major at the University of Dallas, in Irving, Tx., spent the fall at his school's 12-acre Eugene Constantin Campus just outside of the famous Italian city.
For more than 40 years, the university has allowed its students to travel abroad to pursue studies in architecture, literature and philosophy.

The semester culminates in a 10-day trip to Greece where students perform plays in ancient amphitheaters where philosophers like Socrates once spoke.
Ferrel has also been named to the University of Dallas' Honor Roll for the fall semester.

To appear on the school's honor roll, a student must have a Grade Point Average of 3.0 to 4.9.
The University of Dallas is a private, Catholic, co-educational university with its main campus in Irving.
