Police: Dale City Man Dragged by Vehicle on I-95

Virginia State Police are seeking the public's help in solving a bizarre dragging incident on Interstate 95 Thursday night.

Witnesses told Virginia State Police that a man fell out of a dark, late-model sedan on northbound Interstate 95 on Thursday evening.

At 6:50 p.m., the rear passenger-side door of the car opened and a man fell out of the vehicle near mile marker 156, VSP public relations manager Corinne Geller wrote in an email.

“The man was then dragged by the vehicle for more than 200 feet before dropping into the roadway,” Geller said. “The sedan continued north on Interstate 95.”
