Signal Bay Waterpark Season Opener is Saturday in Manassas Park
SplashDown Water Park in neighboring Manassas won't be opening on Saturday because of cool temperatures.
Calling all imaginary mermaids: Signal Bay Waterpark in Manassas Park officially opens for the summer on Saturday.
It's weekend swimming only from at the water park until June 17. After that, it's open every day of the week until Labor Day. The hours are 11:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Admission is $6.50 for swimmers over 43" tall and $6 for those under that height.

Get water park season passes at the Manassas Park Community Center.
The 27,000 square foot park is located in Signal Bay Park at 9300 Signal View Dr. and features a zero-depth entry leisure pool with water cannons, slides and a lazy river. Concessions and showers are also available.

Signal Bay Waterpark is the only water park in the Manassas-area opening Saturday.
SplashDown Water Park in Prince William Couny postponed its Saturday opening because of unseasonably cold tempertures.
It isn't immediately clear when the park will open.
Admission to SplashDown is $14.95 for visitors over 48" tall and $11.25 for visitors under that height.
Season passes are also available.
The park is located in Ben Lomond Park at 7500 Ben Lomond Park Dr. just outside of Manassas.
