Suspects Sought in 55-Gallon Fish Tank Theft

Police are trying to determine who stole a 55-gallon fish tank from the hallway of the U-Haul on Centreville Road on Tuesday.

The fish tank disappeared between 4:30 and 6 p.m. when the victims said they were moving their belongings out of a U-Haul storage unit.

The fish tank and a bookcase were left in the hallway outside the unit while one victim stood outside with the rest of the belongings. The second victim drove a load home, Manassas Park Police reports show.

When they returned to the hallway, only the bookcase was left, the victims told police.

Surveillance video from the hallway couldn't be viewed by police at the time the report was taken.

The fish tank is thought to be worth $250.

No arrests have been made.
