Thieves Make Off With Nail Guns, Power Drills, Air Compressor

Someone made off with thousands of dollars worth of equipment on Jan. 17 and Jan. 18.

Manassas Park Police are trying to determine who stole several nail guns, powers drills and an air compressor in two separate incidents on Kent Drive this month.

The first incident happened sometime between 5 p.m. on Jan. 17 and 7:30 a.m. on Jan. 18 on the 200 Block of Kent Drive, Manassas Park Police reports show.

Police said someone went inside a 2005 Chevrolet Van and took three power drills— two Milwaukee brands and the third a Dewalt.

Around the same time as the drills disappeared, someone took three Hitachi nails guns and an Arco air compressor out of a 1998 Ford van parked on the same block.

Two more nail guns were taken from a Chevrolet van parked in the same area.

The Hitachi nail guns are worth $350 each and the air compressor is worth $200, police reports show.

One of the victims surmises that it took two people to lift the air compressor because of its size, police said.

There were no signs of force entry on either of the vehicles.

Anyone with information about these crimes is asked to call Manassas Park Police.
