• Rawls says he'll release details about Martinsville city manager report as early as January (cardinalnews.org) — Martinsville City Council member Aaron Rawls says he plans to share key details from the investigation into former city manager Aretha Ferrell-Benavides’ firing as early as late January, alongside developments in a special prosecutor’s probe. He won’t release the full attorney-prepared report but intends to disclose much of its information, while a forensic audit of city finances and a separate investigation by Virginia State Police and special prosecutor Wes Nance continue.
