1 Killed In Crash Involving Tractor-Trailer On Beltway, Woodbridge Driver Identified
A fatal two-vehicle crash on the Washington Beltway that happened early Friday morning killed a Woodbridge driver, state police say.
MCLEAN, VA — A Woodbridge woman died when her car struck the back of a truck on the Inner Loop of the Washington Beltway early Friday morning in the McLean area, officials said.
The crash happened about 1:50 a.m. on Interstate 495 northbound near the Old Dominion overpass in a work zone, according to Virginia State Police.
A fully loaded tractor-trailer carrying produce was slowing down because of traffic in the area when it was struck in the rear by a northbound sedan, a news release from state police said. The car was pinned under the tractor-trailer.

Authorities said the sedan's driver died at the scene. The sedan driver was identified as Danielle Foreman, 21, of Woodbridge.
The crash remains under investigation.
