TYSONS, VA — Two workers trapped in a window washing basket outside a high-rise building in Tysons Thursday morning were rescued by Fairfax County fire and rescue personnel, according to an 11:05 a.m. post on the department's official X account.
Fire and rescue units responded to the 7900 block of Tysons One Place after receiving a report that a window washing basket had malfunctioned, trapping two people high about the pavement.
Members of FCFRD's Technical Rescue Operations Team lowered the two workers into a tower ladder bucket, which safely carried them to the ground, according to the post. No injuries were reported.
