5 Recognized By Northern Virginia Chamber With 2024 Impact Awards

Northern Virginia Chamber will be presenting 2024 Impact Awards to five people at its annual members meeting in June.

TYSONS, VA — Northern Virginia Chamber will be recognizing five of its members by presenting them with Impact Awards for regional leadership and in the areas of workforce and diversity, equity and inclusion.

Jason Stanford, Laura Miller Brooks and Nick Clemente will receive the 2024 Impact Award for Regional Leadership, recognizing their "intellectual and policy engagement on the future financial and operational integrity of WMATA," according to the chamber's release.

Standford is the executive director of the Northern Virginia Transportation Alliance and Brooks is the director of transportation and infrastructure on the Federal City Council.

As the chamber's vice-president of government relations, Clemente represented its interests in Richmond, including writing a weekly blog during the 2024 General Assembly session. The chamber worked closely with NVTA to identify a sustainable path for Metro.

The awards will be presented June 6, at the chamber's annual members' meeting. Networking will take place 8-9 a.m. and the program is 8-10 a.m. This members-only event will be at the Westover Country Club in Vienna.
