Back To School Boro Bash Features Movie, Family-Friendly Activities

MCLEAN, VA — The Boro in Tysons is hosting a free night of family fun with the Back to School Boro Bash, featuring a night of crafts, an outdoor movie, refreshments and a school supplies drive.

The Back to School Boro Bash will kick off at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 6 with activities for all ages:

• Outdoor Movie: "Monsters University" – Cozy up on the lawn for a family-friendly movie under the stars. The movie starts at 7:30 p.m. Arrive early to snag the best spot!
• Glitter Tattoo Artist – Show off your school spirit with custom glitter designs.
• DIY Notebook Decorating Station – Create a personalized notebook just in time for the new school year.
• “Pop Quiz” Popcorn Bar – Fresh, fun movie snacks for the whole family.
• School Supplies Drive with Share of McLean – Support local students by donating backpacks, notebooks and other essentials.

Those looking to make it a dinner-and-a-movie night can do so by dining at North Italia at the Boro before or after the movie. They will receive a 10 percent discount on their order when they mention the event.
