PartnerMD provides its members with personalized medical care, 24/7 access to its doctors, no-wait appointments, certified health coaching, and in-house lab testing. The company’s McLean medical office is located at 6862 Elm Street in McLean, close to the intersection of Route 123 and Old Dominion Drive.
“As more patients are looking for a better way to care for themselves and their loved ones, we are excited about our continued long-term growth potential in Fairfax County and neighboring localities,” Smith said.
To celebrate its 20-year anniversary as a company, PartnerMD launched Wellness University, a program included as part of the ParnerMD membership that focuses on the overall health and lifestyle improvements for members. Wellness University is fully integrated with the physician care and includes tools and information focused on topics like managing stress, cognitive health, improving sleep, muscle growth and development, and diet.
Dr. Shafai said she was attracted to concierge medicine because it allows her to treat patients with the holistic ideal in mind. “Approaching healthcare from a comprehensive perspective benefits the treatment and wellness outcomes for my patients,” she said.
The services provided to patients at the McLean office "go far beyond the basic conveniences that typical concierge medicine practices offer," she said.
PartnerMD also offers executive physicals, coordination of specialist care and a wide variety of wellness services. Executive physicals are designed to identify and provide guidance on preventing health problems before they occur.
