UPDATE: Old Dominion Reopened After Crash in McLean Wednesday Night

Arlington County sent out an alert about the crash and traffic delays at about 6:40 p.m. Wednesday. Police said at 7:30 the road is open.

McLEAN, VA (UPDATE 7:30 p.m.) -- Fairfax County Police say the roadways have reopened Wednesday night after a crash in McLean snarled traffic in the area. Arlington County Police reported that the Fairfax County Police Department was handling a vehicle crash in the area of Old Dominion Drive and Valley Wood Road near the county line (see map below).

Old Dominion was shut down in both directions, according to a Severe Traffic Disruption alert sent out by Arlington County Police.

No word on any injuries in the crash.
