Joon Celebrates Persian Tradition With Special 3-Course Menu

TYSONS, VA — To celebrate Yalda, the Persian tradition tied to the Winter solstace, Joon-Tysons Corner by offering a special menu offing until Dec. 31.

The $65 three-course menu includes a bright herb salad, lamb and pistachio meatball fesenjoon with pomegranate and crisp tahdig rice.

The meal is topped off with a Persian Love Cake served with a Yalda Toddy made from Joon black tea, cherry, vanilla, cinnamon-infused vodka, honey, and lemon A non-alcoholic tea pairing is also available.

Joon - Tysons Corner, located at 8045 Leesburg Pike, Suite 120, is open Tuesday-Thursday, 11:30 a.m. to 10 p.m.; Friday, 11:30 a.m. to 11 p.m.; Saturday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.; and Sunday, 11 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. The restaurant is closed on Monday.
